Pierre Koenig
A leading figure in the Modern Movement in America, Pierre Koenig (1925–2004) built his first steel house in 1950. In 1957 Arts and Architecture Magazine designated two of his projects as Case Study Houses #21 and #22. Among the most innovative buildings on the West Coast, they embody the excitement and optimism of the period. This monograph provides the first complete record of Koenig’s long career.
